Professor Dwight Jaggard has been at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) for over 30 years where his research has been in the area of electromagnetics and optics. In addition, he consults, coaches and lectures on four continents on the topics of leadership, decision-making, influence, persuasion, power and team dynamics. He has worked with several thousand high-potentials, emerging leaders, students and professionals who want to be more effective in what they do.

He received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), is a Professor at Penn, and was the Chair of the Penn Faculty Senate enhancing self-governance for 4500 faculty.

Dwight is also on the visiting faculty of the Young India Fellowship (Ashoka University, Sonipat, India) where he teaches leadership in the summer. Since 2010 he has led IMS (Institute of Management Studies) workshops on Political Savvy and on Leading Without Authority in Europe and North America. Dwight was the founding director of the EMTM (Executive Masters in Technology Management) Program at Penn.

He was the co-founder of a high-technology business created to commercialize the research results of his colleagues and himself. Dwight is the author of hundreds of scientific presentations and publications, and is the inventor on half a dozen patents.
